I'm back from vacation now so I gotta start playing catch-up. This is my entry for the "Sport" category. "The Sandlot" is one of my favorite sports movies of all time and this is one scene that everyone knows. Squints Palledorous telling The Story of The Beast.

I get back from Arizona only to find this blog in drama mode!  

No offense to Carabet, but I wasn't really into this topic, so I took some extreme liberties with it.  I've been in Lord of the Rings mode for the past week and in Fellowship, at the end, Viggo-baby says the above line, and voila!  HUNTING!

I LOVED the topic for this week, bravo Adam. There really was no other option for me, MJ being my all-time favorite athlete. I've really dug the topics lately, I think it's in an artist's best interests to expand their horizons and keep diversifying the things they draw/paint. I'd rather be challenged to draw something outside my comfort zone (Native American topic) than to keep drawing the same things over and over again. This week's topic, interestingly enough, correlates perfectly with the idea that, if you push yourself outside your comfort zone, you will get better faster. I hope everyone digs.

2011 NBA Champs

We celebrated our first championship in Dallas for the first time in 12 years. Nice to have something to brag about in this town again.

I had a real hard time thinking of what to do this week. I wanted to do hacky sack, but its hard to make hacky sack look cool.

Bruce Lee

My sport being... like Kung Fu and stuff.
I love Bruce Lee. The 40min cut of Game of Death, that is all him, is amazing and would have been epic had he not died before completion. If you've only seen the regular cut of Game of Death, you should check it out.
