Literature by Chris Mooneyham

First Blood is a great chase story.  It's quite different from the movie (which also kicks ass), especially in the character of Rambo.  In the book, he's just over twenty, with a big ass beard and long hair.  Stallone was definitely not the right choice.  I heard that Jeff Bridges was in the running for Rambo, originally, and honestly, after reading the book, that would have been awesome, along with Kirk Douglas as Colonel Trautman.

Aliens by Chris Mooneyham

James Cameron's Aliens has been one of my favorite movies since I was a kid.  In 4th grade, me and my buddy Phil would write and draw fan-fiction of it just so we could write swear words.  It was awesome.

John Carpenter by Chris Mooneyham

I figured that we would see many a Kurt Russell this week, so I decided to go with a supporting character from my favorite John Carpenter film.  Bob Hauk, Police Commissioner from Escape From New York.  Lee Van Cleef was so fucking cool.  Also, I forgot how to paint.

Gotham by Chris Mooneyham

Okay, so, I haven't been putting a lot of effort into my posts, lately.  But I figured if it's my turn to pick the topic, then I should pick something that I'm into at the moment, and go all out.  So, here we go.  Also, I fucking love Two-Face.

100 Bullets by Chris Mooneyham

I've never read any "100 Bullets", but I remember Josh raving about it.  That's probably why I never got around to reading it.  Lesson:  Don't push me into liking stuff.  Eduardo Risso is awesome, though.

Luchador by Chris Mooneyham

Psychotrono- The Monster Manglin' Man!

I have no idea if this is fitting for the character or not.  Finding reference for Darren Auck's character is nigh impossible.  The best I could find was Cermak's sketch in Auck's sketchbook.
Whatevs, it was fun anyways.

Slasher by Chris Mooneyham

Andy beat me to Silence of the Lambs, but oh well.  Max- I think you'll like the color reference.  Or think it's whack.  Whatevs.

Bruce Willis by Chris Mooneyham

While I absolutely love "Die Hard", I know a lot of people on this blog do too, so I decided to go with an extended cameo by ol' Brucey Baby.  "Planet Terror" is one of my favorite movies "of ever".  It's so over the top gruesome and plays on every cliche from "B" movies from the 70's and 80's that you have to love it.  YOU HAVE TO!!
