Marv
Dwight
The only Sin City I've read are "That Yellow Bastard" and "The Hard Goodbye". Maybe one other one, but I can't remember which. The movie was cool, though, and I remember loving Dwight. So, here he is. Also, this is the first time since Hy Eisman's class that I've used my Ames Guide!By the way, everybody did really well this week. Great Job!
Dwight Kills Ava
Dwight is my favorite Sin City character. Well...post bullet in the face, plastic surgery Dwight. This sketch was...interesting to do. It didn't turn out quite like I planned, and then the gray areas in the ink screwed with my leveling, so this isn't an accurate scan of the piece in my opinion, but it's the best I could muster. In other news, inking like Miller on Sin City is for the birds, I tried to emulate the look, but I probably should have just stuck with my own method.
KILL HIM GOOD FOR ME MARV
Rubber tubing, gas, saw, gloves, cuffs, razor wire, hatchet, gladys...and my mits.
pg. 162 from The Hard Good Bye.
Claire?
Haven't really ever read Sin City, so I wasn't really sure what to pick for this one, but I did watch the movie, and I figured it's hard to go wrong with an almost-naked Carla Gugino.
That Yellow Bastard
Sin City
Haven't really read any of the comics so I just went with a design oriented drawing of a few of the characters I know of.
