Great pick, Emi!  I've always been fascinated by Arthurian lore, and I wanted to do something a little different with the source material.  Also, I tried a different inking style with this one.

The Kamakura period marked the transition to the Japanese medieval era - 700 year period in which the emperor, the court, and the traditional central government were left intact but largely relegated to ceremonial functions. Civil, military, and judicial matters were controlled by the samurai class, the most powerful of whom was the shōgun.

Conan!

Conan is medieval right? I mean barbarians were around in medieval times, Conan is a barbarian. Okay it's settled. This was a quickie this week, been wanting to fool around with a ball point pen in the inking stage and I went a little overboard here, but it was a good introduction. I think this was the first time I've ever drawn Conan... hope everyone digs!

Medieval Spawn

I loved all that Spawn stuff when I was little. My favorite thing was popping the top off the Angela toy and drawing nipples on her.
I hit a wall coming up with something for this, so went with a close-up.

Mordred

The first thing that popped into my head for "Medieval Ages" was the movie "Excalibur". I can't get enough of the movie, the soundtrack, the visuals, it's all great. I always thought that Mordred's armor was pretty sweet, and the head piece was creepy as hell so I went with that. I tried out inking the whole thing with Sharpies, never really done that before besides quick sketchbook things. It was kind of fun.

Etrigan

I was having a real hard time thinking of something to draw, because I've never cared much for Knights and stuff until I remembered Etrigan!  Great story right?

Pulp Fiction

The Medievil Dead etc.
Was one of my favorite movie when i was growing up. I had a shitty VHS taped off tv version with the first 5 mins missing. So i had no concept of the Evil Dead movies. My version of it began with the line - "My name is Ash, and I am a slave". Watched it about 100 times.
Done with a brush. Had fun with the horse. Always like inking horses.
