Literature by Clayton Cowles

Yep. Scarlett O'Hara. I cheated here, as I've never read "Gone With The Wind," and I haven't seen the movie since 12th-grade Film Study. At the end of the film, my teacher Mr. Hardy asked me for my initial thought, and I replied "That is one infuriating woman." I hadn't thought about "Gone With The Wind" until this week's topic came along, but Scarlett O'Hara REALLY has an intriguing character arc. She could very well be the first well-known female anti-hero in modern literature. I dunno, I might have to watch it again. I'll probably still hate it, too.
