Sean Connery by Mike Fasano

. Sean Connery should wear swat gear all day everyday.

Sean Connery by Max Romanchak

somewhere under all that is Sean Connery... I always thought he could've made a great Old Snake.
click on this link for another Sean sketch i did>> Sean from The Rock

Sean Connery by Gavin Smith

Just recently watched the Untouchables again. This scene was pretty dope. Kind of a quicky this week. My hands weren't cooperating with me tonight on some of my earlier drafts, so I went with this.

Sean Connery by Tyler Champion

Love the comic, hated the movie.

Sean Connery by Alec Morgan

Always loved Highlander...

Sean Connery by Troy Hoover

Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez! Not my favorite Connery character by any means but I just saw Highlander again recently and decided to go with this. Went with rough pencils and quick digital colors to try a different style.

Sean Connery by Joe Ruff

I wanted to do a less popular pic, but oh well.. I think it came out pretty well.

Sean Connery by Ben Dale

How do you pick only one Connery to draw? I couldn't. You're the man now dog!

Welcome to the Rock! This has to be my favorite Michael Bay movie.

Sean Connery by Garry Brown

I love Outland. Plus there's not many Connery movies in that era.

Frank Frazetta by Max Romanchak

Frank Frazetta by Andy Taylor

Hey, remember Jaguar God?

Flying by Andy Taylor

This is what it looks like when I am flying.

Frank Frazetta by Mike Fasano

FIRE AND ICE. Meant to do some painting this week but ran out of some crucial material. Fun going through all my Frazetta stuff for inspiration. Great movie, baller rotoscoping. I only use the word baller to annoy Mooneyham.

Frank Frazetta by Tyler Champion

Quick digi painting of Master Chief taken from Frazetta's Famous Conan cover.

Frank Frazetta by Gavin Smith

So I haven't had the internet at my disposal to look at all the sweet sweet artwork that Frankie Frazets, has to offer.... But I did have Molly Hatchet's "Flirtin' with Disaster" LP laying around my room. So I decided to do a sketch based off that badass viking dude.

Frank Frazetta by Troy Hoover

Everyone loves Death Dealer! How about a Native American Death Dealer? I really wanted to take this topic as an opportunity to mess around with digital painting again. Still seems to be something I can't totally grasp. I think it's the blending technique that gets me, can't really find a way to make it work the same way real paints do. Anyways I decided to re-paint an existing Frazetta layout as an homage and I put a little twist on it with the Native American thing.

Frank Frazetta by Adam Carabet

I've always been a big fan of Frazetta's black and white stuff and wanted to try and do something along those lines. I did this on watercolor paper so I can add some washes over it another time.

Frank Frazetta by Alec Morgan

Frazetta's work on Conan sparked my initial interest in both the artist and the character, and got me into fantasy illustration in general. I didn't really know much about him before I went to school, so thanks to Kevin Castaniero for the hard Introduction...

Frank Frazetta by Joe Ruff

Frazetta drew some of the most amazing women, so I thought I'd try my hand at it.

Frank Frazetta by Ben Dale (after Frank Frazetta)

I recreated one of my favorite Frazetta paintings for this sketch. I didn't spend time making sure it was exactly like the original in every way, but spending a few hours with a masters painting can teach you so much about someone else's drawing theory, color palette, and technique. You can see the original painting here.

Here's Conan with a chick, and Conan's thinking about money for some reason.

Flying by Craig Cermak

Hawkgirl - Had fun with this, but really want to color it still, so will have that update one of these days. Update: That day was today.

Flying by Troy Hoover

The first idea that popped into my head when I saw the topic was "flying" was Charles Lindbergh. I started searching for reference and before long ENEMY ACE popped into my head so I went with that since it's about 100 times cooler. It's about 8 minutes to midnight so I'm uploading the inks now to meet the deadline. I have tomorrow off so I will probably color this then and update this post.

Flying by Mike Fasano

I had real hard time coming up with something this week but after sketching around a bit...Party Owl. He shows up in backyards and blows peoples minds.

Flying by Tyler Champion

Digital painting based off an image I saw on Reddit. I dug the photo and thought it would make an interesting painting.

Flying by Adam Carabet

It's not flying, it's falling with style! Unless you have a jet pack . . . . then it's flying. Anyway, Buzz Lightyear!

Flying by Joe Ruff

I always dug the classic armor.

Flying by Ben Dale

I am a really big fan of this weeks topic. I was excited at such a broad topic that allows lots of different ideas from one word. Inspired by a few of my favorite artists I wanted to draw a plane. It took me a half dozen sketches before I felt like I was even drawing planes decently but I liked the challenge and I feel like I learned something!

Flying by Gavin Smith

I didn't draw him flying because I couldn't think of anything that didn't look too derivative of all the reference I could find... but you know he flies so whatever. Done on cardboard.

Flying by Garry Brown

Batman kinda flys in the Nolan movies, which originally i hated, but now it fits perfectly.

Flying by Joe Bowen

Here is Doctor Who, riding on the Tardis, in a manner reminiscent of the scene in Dr. Strangelove. Doctor Strangewho.

Flying by Clayton Cowles

First ever post! Thank you for having me! The theme this week is "Flying," so I drew the bad Archangel from Uncanny X-Force. That's a sweet comic, you should read it.
